Changing sprocket tooth counts changes final-drive gearing and can alter acceleration, engine speed and speedometer behavior on some motorcycles. Stock sizing is the safest baseline unless a qualified source confirms the change.
Pitch, tooth count, mounting pattern, alignment and chain specification must be compatible. Do not buy a sprocket from diameter or appearance alone.
